Years ago, I was teaching skiing at Vail Mountain in Colorado. One of my “never-ever” students (people who’ve never tried skiing before) was 84 years old. He did GREAT. By the end of the day, he was zooming all over the beginner’s slopes, yelling, “I wish I would have tried this YEARS ago!” Instead, he inherited the family plumbing supply company and worked like a dog until he was 75 years old.

Sure, he had money. He was also successful. But, now his whole life is gone.

If you have dreams, live them. Life only comes around once. As Warren Miller, the famous ski-film entrepreneur once said, “No one I know ever looks back while on the ski slopes complaining ‘I wish I’d spent more time in the office.’”
